this is the packaging image for a 1970s butterick embroidery transfer. i'm not ashamed to admit that i have an almost identical shirt which i found at the salvation army when i was 14 and wore with pride (mine actually donned an array of retro mushrooms, yes it did). 


i wish it were still cool for a man to sport a hand-embroidered palm tree on his groin.
