twigs are all the rage these days. i recall beginning to see more organic, nature-inspired accessories since as far back as four years ago, but it seems that now it has grown into a full-fledged fashion trend. i myself spent over a year salivating over a cast maple seed necklace from twigs and heather, which i have since purchased and grown very attached to (it's the nostalgia, really). granted this is a trend, it is nevertheless one that continues to evolve each season, and when made well the pieces can be ever so lovely...
